Utilization of carbon dioxide as C1 source for organic conversions

Academic Details

Joined as Research Scholar at IIT Roorkee in 2020

M.Sc. in Chemistry from NIT Hamirpur, H.P. (2020)

B.Sc. in Chemistry(H) from Panjab University, Chandigarh (2018)

Current Research Area: Development of catalyst systems to efficiently utilize carbon dioxide as C1 source for organic conversions

The research is mainly focused on the synthesis, characterization and applications of heteroatoms enriched high surface area nanoporous materials in the first step. Using these materials for the conversiom of carbon dioxide into value added products. Moreover, it will be explored if inclusion of metal cations can further improve the catalytic activity in these metalfree systems.
