Mr. Anuj Rawat
Material chemistry, Nanoporous materials as efficient adsorbents for petrochemical applications
Joined as Research Scholar at IIT Roorkee in 2018
M.Sc. in Chemistry from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur(2017)
B.Sc. in Chemistry(H) from Dyal Singh College, University of Delhi in (2015)
The research mainly involves synthesis and characterization of novel high surface area inorganic-organic hybrid nonporous materials for petrochemical applications. The work is mainly focused on adsorptive removal organic carcinogenic aromatic hydrocarbons including polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and polycyclic aromatic sulphur heterocycles (PASHs) from bath mode to fixed bed column mode.
