"Solid State Electrolyte (SSE)."

Inorganic solid ionic conductors are being considered as potential replacement of currently used organic electrolytes for solid state batteries (SSB) to overcome all the issue of safety, stability with electrodes, dendrites formation as well as flammability. Among all inorganic SSE garnet type (LLZO) system is more promising due to high ionic conductivity as well as good electrochemical & thermal stability. The multisurgical doping and formation of nanostructure Li stuffed garnet Li7-xAxLa3M2-xO12 (M=Ta, Nb, Zr) will enhance the ionic conductivity 3- 4 times of LLZO system and will help to achieve high stability with electrodes which will improve the performance of batteries. The study of physics at interface and conduction phenomena in garnet system will provide an alternate prospective to develop new SSE for all SSB fabrication.
