"Nanostructured Garnet Li7La3Zr2O12 and its Application for Li-ion Battery."

Solid electrolyte is a key component for the practical application of Rechargeable all-solid-state Li-ion batteries. Generally, solid electrolytes for All-solid-state batteries should possess the properties such as high ionic Conductivity and negligible electronic conductivity, wide voltage window(5.5V),Chemical compatibility with the electrodes, as well as relatively simple to Fabricate on a large scale with low cost. Among all solid electrolyte materials Ranging from sulfides to oxides and oxynitrides, cubic garnet–type Li7La3Zr2O12 LLZO) ceramic electrolytes are superior candidates because of their high ionic Conductivity (10−3 to 10−4 S/cm) and good stability against Li metal. So our aim To develop fast ionic conductor (LLZO) for Li-ion batteries and analysis of LLZO by different Characterization techniques such as FESEM,TEM,FTIR,TGA,EIS etc
