Course Outline

• This is a course of Four (4) credits.
• It consists of Three (3) lecture hours and One (1) tutorial hour per week.
• The basic objective of this course is to familiarize students with the concepts and issues of mobile and pervasive computing technologies.
• We will try to stick to the basic course outline as given in Syllabus, but we may deviate a bit.
• Prerequisite: Knowledge of computer architecture.
• Performance Evaluation: Class Work Sessional (CWS) = 25%, Mid-Term Exam (MTE) = 25%, End-Term Exam (ETE) = 50%.
• CWS (25% marks) will be computed by a weighted sum of different components.

 

General Information

• This is an elective course for BTech (CSE) IV year, MTech (CSE) I year and PhD I year students (Total Strength: ~80).

• Lecture Class Timings:
  Mondays: 11 am - 12 noon, Wednesdays: 11 am - 12 noon, and Fridays: 11 am - 12 noon
  Lecture Venue: LH-02

• Tutorial Class Timings:
  Tuesdays: 4 - 5 pm (Batch-1) and 5 - 6 pm (Batch-2)
