At iDrive lab, our research integrates smart and sustainable mobility, transportation data science and artificial intelligence, behavioural modelling, driver health and well-being, cognitive ergonomics, smart vehicle technologies, multi-sensor data fusion, and real-time embedded safety systems to better understand the complex interactions between drivers, vehicles, and transport environments in real-world systems. By combining data-driven research with human-centered design, we develop scalable methods, advanced modelling approaches, and intelligent systems that enhance safety, improve human performance and well-being, and support the development of transportation systems that are more resilient, inclusive, sustainable, and adaptive.
Between human behaviour and intelligent systems, we design safer mobility.
